Who I am as an Instructional Designer

I am an innovative educational professional who has always had a knack for creativity.  My experience as a musical artist and educator has assisted me in my journey to have a unique outlook on learning solutions. I use my creative background to create learning solutions using the ADDIE model for a variety of modalities for various levels of learners. I design creative design documents, storyboards, and scripts for eLearning modules. I am also a project manager with experience in collaboration with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). I am proficient in Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360, and more.

Who I am outside of Instructional Design

I spend a lot of my time outside of instructional design as a musician.  I play the cello in multiple orchestras, chamber groups, and as a solo artist.  I also play bass guitar and was in a blues/rock/cover band called The Orange Whips up until recently when our guitarist moved to California, but continue to perform on bass guitar whenever I can.  I also love going to music performances of many varieties: classical, theatre, rock, pop, jazz, to name a few.  I love to travel and try new cuisines.
